The Focus Short Film Competition is an exciting and liberating opportunity for Lens based practitioners; Run annually The focus project uses the competition to search for new up and coming moving image practitioners or existing veterans who just arent getting enough attention!
Every year we look for new and budding practitioners who are driving the genre of short film forward through inspirational and innovative works. You could be a student, a graduate or just having bought your first camera and exploring the world of moving image. We want work which reflects the talent coming from new practitioners to help them get their work into the world; Everyone has to start somewhere. Not only is this an opportunity for us to see your great work but for you to win a prize and to get publicised, showing a whole new audience of people your concepts whom may not have experienced ideas such as yours before.
